JM Weston Homes is a collaboration of individuals who are passionate about building a top-quality product and providing outstanding customer service. It is a company that believes strongly in relationships, relationships with customers, trade partners, land owners, and developers. The team believes in a “win win” philosophy in all aspects of our business.

We believe in differentiating ourselves by paying very close attention to our design to best meet the living needs of our buyers. Placement of laundry rooms, HVAC locations and other critical components of our homes have been carefully planned to best meet your needs. Our architectural detail, including window placement and all exterior elements are designed to create a clear departure from what is normally found in other affordable attached products.

And we believe that the term “green building” has different meanings to different people. We recognize that being responsible stewards of our environment begins with the design phase of our residences and continues through the construction process. We strive to deliver a new home that is as energy efficient as possible given current technology. All of our homes are Energy Rated and we are constantly monitoring the industry for innovations and products that increase the efficiency not only of our homes, but also our construction processes. The result is a beautiful, quality constructed home that you can count on to be efficient and comfortable for many years to come.

 

John Bissett, President

First, jazz trombone. Then boat building. Then real estate accounting and consulting. Then homebuilding. While his previous careers seem as dissimilar as any can be, they all depend greatly on two key attributes: relationships, both with audiences and customers and attention to detail in every aspect of the performance or task. John has been involved in the Colorado Springs and Denver homebuilding markets for over ten years and calls Colorado Springs home. Prior to founding JM Weston Homes, John served as Senior Vice President of John Laing Homes in Colorado, nationally recognized company for its award winning product design and high level of customer service and satisfaction.

Todd Davis, Vice President of Operations

At the age of nine, he built his first raft, mostly out of Styrofoam, plywood and chicken wire. He and his dad promptly put that raft in the Colorado River and floated 39 miles down the river on a camping adventure — a modern day Huck Finn. He started his first job in homebuilding at the age of 10. Along the way Todd took time out to get a Bachelors degree at Arizona State and then went right back into homebuilding. In other words, this guy likes to build things.

Todd’s managed the construction and customer care functions for individual projects, master planned communities and regional divisions. With more than 20 years of home building experience, Todd is perfectly suited in his role as Vice President of Operations with JM Weston Homes.

Fifteen students in her high school graduating class. From Hitchcock, South Dakota, her small town, to Northern California by way of Albuquerque, Janelle finally found home in Colorado Springs in 1992. She went from fixing leaky toilets at a property management company to developing and marketing million-dollar lofts. Known around town as “The Loft Lady,” Janelle excels at creating successful brands and is continuously reinventing herself and her organization. Not bad for a country girl from South Dakota.
